~ “Let Me Tell You Why You Shouldn’t Quit! — One day I decided to quit — I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality… I wanted to quit my life.

I went to the woods to have one last talk with God.

“God”, I said. “Can you give me one good reason not to quit?” His answer surprised me… “Look around”, He said. “Do you see the fern and the bamboo?”

“Yes”, I replied. When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.

In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.

He said. “In the third year, there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit.

In the fourth year, again, there was nothing from the bamboo seed. “I would not quit.” He said.

“Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant…

But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall. It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle.”

He said to me. “Did you know, my child, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots.” “I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you.

“Don’t compare yourself to others …” He said. ” The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern … Yet, they both make the forest beautiful.

“Your time will come,” God said to me. ” You will rise high!” How high should I rise?” I asked. How high will the bamboo rise?” He asked in return. “As high as it can?” I questioned. ” Yes.” He said, “Give me glory by rising as high as you can.”

I left the forest and bring back this story. I hope these words can help you see that God will never give up on you. He will never give up on you. Never regret a day in your life.

~ “Good days give you happiness. Bad days give you experiences. Both are essential to life. A happy and meaningful life requires our continuous input and creativity. It does not happen by chance. It happens because of our choices and actions. And each day we are given new opportunities to choose and act and, in doing so, we create our own unique journey.”
=> Keep going… Happiness keeps you Sweet,
=> Trials keep you Strong,
=> Sorrows keep you Human,
=> Failures keep you humble,
=> Success keeps You Glowing,
=> But Only God keeps You Going!

~ “The Lord is my light and my salvation — whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid? 2 – When the wicked advance against me to devour[a] me, it is my enemies and my foes who will stumble and fall. 3 – Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident. 4 – One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple. 5 – For in the day of trouble he will keep me safe in his dwelling; he will hide me in the shelter of his sacred tent and set me high upon a rock. 6 – Then my head will be exalted above the enemies who surround me; at his sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the Lord.” [Psalm 27:1-6]

~”Then Jesus told them a parable about their need to pray always and not to lose heart. He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor had respect for people. In that city there was a widow who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Grant me justice against my opponent.’ For a while he refused; but later he said to himself, ‘Though I have no fear of God and no respect for anyone, yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will grant her justice, so that she may not wear me out by continually coming.’” And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God grant justice to his chosen ones who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long in helping them? I tell you, he will quickly grant justice to them”. (Luke 18:1-8)

• “This parable tells us that we must be persistent in prayer and not give up. ~It compares God to an unjust judge and shows Him to be much more caring. If the unjust and uncaring judge can eventually be persuaded to give justice to the widow, then God, who is both just and loving, will surely give us the things we need.✽♡͡»

– “Once Upon A Time; — Two travelling Angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a wealthy family. The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the mansion’s guest room.

Instead the Angels were given a space in the cold basement. As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older Angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it.

When the younger Angel asked why, the older Angel replied…”Things aren’t always what they seem.”

The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a very poor, but very hospitable farmer and his wife. After sharing what little food they had, the couple let the Angels sleep in their bed where they could have a good night’s rest.

When the sun came up the next morning, the Angels found the farmer and his wife in tears. Their only cow, whose milk had been their sole income, lay dead in the field.

The younger Angel was infuriated and asked the older Angel, “How could you have let this happen? The first man had everything, yet you helped him” he accused. “The second family had little but was willing to share everything, and you let their cow die.”

“Things aren’t always what they seem,” the older Angel replied. “When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I noticed there was gold stored in that hole in the wall. Since the owner was so obsessed with greed and unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the wall so he wouldn’t find it.

“Then last night, as we slept in the farmers bed, the Angel of Death came for his wife. I gave her the cow instead. Things aren’t always what they seem.”

Sometimes this is exactly what happens when things don’t turn out the way they should. If you have faith, you just need to trust that every outcome is always to your advantage. You might not know it until sometime later.

Think about this:

✽♡͡  Should you find it hard to get to sleep tonight: just remember the homeless family who has no bed to lie in.
✽♡͡  Should you find yourself stuck in traffic: don’t despair. There are people in this world for whom driving is an unheard of privilege.
✽♡͡  Should you have a bad day at work: think of the man who has been out of work for the last three months.
✽♡͡  Should you despair over a relationship gone bad: think of the person who has never known what it’s like to love and be loved in return.
✽♡͡  Should you grieve the passing of another weekend: think of the woman in dire straits, working twelve hours a day, seven days a week, for $15.00 to feed her family.
✽♡͡  Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk.
✽♡͡  Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror: think of the cancer patient in chemotherapy who wishes she had hair to examine.
✽♡͡  Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what is life all about, asking “what is my purpose”: be thankful. There are those who didn’t live long enough to get the opportunity.
✽♡͡  Should you find yourself the victim of other people’s bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities: remember things could be worse. You could be them!”✽♡͡»

~“See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. – Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. Do not rebel against him; he will not forgive your rebellion, since my Name is in him. – If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you. – My angel will go ahead of you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites and Jebusites, and I will wipe them out.” (Exodus 23:20-23) ✽♡͡»

– “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, – bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. – If someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also. If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. – Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. – Do to others as you would have them do to you.

– “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners love those who love them. – And if you do good to those who are good to you, what credit is that to you? Even sinners do that. – And if you lend to those from whom you expect repayment, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners, expecting to be repaid in full. – But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked. – Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. [Luke 6:27-36]

– “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? – He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all – how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? – Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. – Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died – more than that, who was raised to life – is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. – Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? – As it is written:

‘For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.’[j]
– No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. – For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[k] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, – neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. – “Imagine there is a bank that credits your account each morning with $86,400. It carries over no balance from day to day. Every evening deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to use during the day.
What would you do? Draw out every cent, of course!!!! Each of us has such a bank. Its name is TIME.

Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft. Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to use the day’s deposits, the loss is yours.

There is no going back. There is no drawing against the “tomorrow”. You must live in the present on today’s deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness, and success!
The clock is running. Make the most of today.

– “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see. – This is what the ancients were commended for.

– By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

– By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead.

– By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.”[a] For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God. – And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

– By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.

– By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. – By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. – For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God. – And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she[b] considered him faithful who had made the promise. – And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.

– All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth. – People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. – If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. – Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

– By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son, – even though God had said to him, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.” – Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.

– By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau in regard to their future.

– By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of Joseph’s sons, and worshiped as he leaned on the top of his staff.

– By faith Joseph, when his end was near, spoke about the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and gave instructions concerning the burial of his bones.

– By faith Moses’ parents hid him for three months after he was born, because they saw he was no ordinary child, and they were not afraid of the king’s edict.

– By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. – He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. – He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. – By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible. – By faith he kept the Passover and the application of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.

– By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned.

– By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the army had marched around them for seven days.

– By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with those who were disobedient.[d]

– And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets, – who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions, – quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies. – Women received back their dead, raised to life again. There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection. – Some faced jeers and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. – They were put to death by stoning; they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated— the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground.

– These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised, – since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.’ [Hebrews 11]
